Okay this one took me some time and I must say, that I had to move a bit out of my normal comfy comfort zone, to get this done.

Let me tell you about my idea behind...

For a VERY long time, I have wanted to create a piece that shows gratitude to all the great people on DA . At the same time I realized that getting that many stocks into one piece, might be to much of a mouthful, so I had to limit it quite a bit.

The idea for this piece is not religious, even though the title might make you think otherwise. It is suppose to illustrate a person saying goodbye to there old self, while other below them (less fortuned), still envy what they have, the process of setting your old self free and letting you be whatever you want to be in the future, is symbolized in the flying dove. the scenery of a graveyard in the back is to say, that it's never to late to make a decision to change something about your self or your life.

The crow in the front (left), don't agree with you and symbolized the people around you, trying to hold you back. The wings on your back, is what you walk around with already (willpower) and when used, you can do anything you put your mind to and finally spread them and bee free. (to fly).

The lightning/electricity is is the energy you WILL be filled with when you start your new journey and that is the spark.

Be true to your self, seize the day! (YOLO)

Some parts (hand, dove etc..) seem to be of poor quality / shaken).. That is on purpose, trying to illustrate movement in a frozen canvas.

I loved making this piece and want to thank all the authors behind the images used within.

I had a hard time deciding when to stop working on this and might have overdone it..

Sometimes less is more. But Any ways I decided to stop here after countless hours.

Final info: The picture contains a lot more images than listed here, those are all taken by me, I simply had to, otherwise I was not able to "put my self" into the process. For instance I knew i wanted water so I went to shoot a good location for that.. Etc.. Etc..  Any ways enjoy.
